Just as you would add page numbers to a Word document to help readers keep track of their place, add page numbers in PowerPoint to help you and your audience keep track of where you are in the presentation. When you use the Page Number feature in Word, it automatically inserts the proper code in either the header or the footer so that each page is numbered consecutively. Instead, you place a code in the document that numbers the pages automatically. When you number pages in Word, you don’t have to manually type the numbers onto each page. Edit Edit Story in Word to create footnotes for Publisher publications. The help menu doesn t seem to answer the question either. Silly me: I can't even figure out how to insert a footnote in Pub. Adding footnotes has always been so easy in Word, that I expected the same ease in Publisher 2003. ![]()
